Signing up for Snaxchange is simple. We just need a few details from you.
If you are an Individual, we will need you to provide the usual set of contact details required by most organisations when signing up as well as a password.
If you are a Food Bank, we will need to know your Food Bank name, charity number, primary contact email and phone number.
If you are a Commercial Business, please provide your company name and registration number. If you are affiliated to a Food Bank, then please let us know.
We will also need to know your location and London borough. This helps us understand where food is located and distributed. If you wanted to join the WhatsApp community then please also provide your mobile phone number.
For ease of use, Snaxchange operates the same way as an online shopping business to provide a familiar look and feel i.e. select products, add to basket, go to checkout and then pay.
The payment options and process are also the same with Snaxchange accepting all major debit and credit card payments. Provide your debit/credit card details at the checkout when asked to do so and you are good to go. Snaxchange does not currently provide an option of storing your card details but this is something we will look at providing in the future.
When completing checkout, you will automatically be sent a receipt to your email address. Other communications will also be sent to your email. If you are not receiving receipts or emails first check your email spam or junk folders. If you do find Snaxchange emails from Snaxchange in the spam or junk folders, then mark emails them as "not junk" so you receive them in the future.
If you can't find Snaxchange emails, try updating your email contact details (Updating personal information) or contact Snaxchange for help (firstname.lastname@example.org).
To update your phone number or email address, then please select the ‘Profile’ option under ‘Your account’ in the drop down menu on the top right of the screen. ‘My profile’ will display the information you provided for your account. You will be able to update your phone number and email and other details if we call it . Simply make the changes and select ‘Update’. Once you have confirmed your Phone number or email will be updated automatically.
If you no longer need your Snaxchange account, then please send an email providing your name and account details to email@example.com and we will do the rest for you.
